Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025, and thank you again if you have been a long time subscriber (I have been sending these out for over three years), plus a warm welcome to all of the new subscribers! I hope to help you learn to cook healthy plant-based meals, share wellness ideas, and keep you updated with all that’s going on over at my blog, www.melissatraub.com.
January often means we may have a snowstorm headed our way. On snowy days, I like to make a cozy breakfast like wild blueberry or banana oatmeal pancakes and maybe do some baking and cooking. Muffins and soup or slow cooker meals seem just right for enjoying a snowy day. Homemade hot cocoa with plant-based milk fits my mood. And as I have been trying to get my sourdough starter ready for breads again, I have made some rather tasty crackers: (so easy - just added flour, olive oil, salt, and spices, rolled them out, and baked them).

Farmer's Fridge
Have you ever tried Farmer’s Fridge? They have fresh refrigerated quick food in places like hospitals, businesses, and airports. This is wonderful when you are looking around for something healthy, quick, and reasonably priced. Their menu includes salads, pasta bowls, chia pudding, overnight oats, wraps, chips and guacamole, and dark chocolate trail mix.
I learned about Farmer’s Fridge because I won a $15 credit in a contest which I have yet to use, but I think that just by signing up for an account I received a $10 voucher. So I enjoyed the tasty salad pictured above for free.
If you want to try it from this link: try Farmer’ Fridge, I will receive a $5 credit and then you may want to try it too and then share your referral link with friends and family. Thank you!
