Apple-picking season and trending recipes, Nutrition Made Easy, how Kiwifruit became popular in the U.S.
Are you headed apple picking this week? Check your local orchards for what’s ripe. My favorite one has: Honey Crisp, Crimson Crisp, Pixie Crunch, Empire, and Jonathan ready! I have not yet tried Pixie Crunch - have any of you? And of course, Honey Crisp are my favorite.
It’s always enjoyable just to walk around, smell the apples (from the ones on the ground), and oh yes, they are known for their apple cider and apple cider donuts! Plus pick-your-own flowers. I am on the hunt for a white pumpkin for a flower-related craft.
So over here I have just perfected a new apple recipe and am typing it up to share with you soon. In the meantime, here are some of my vegan apple recipes to enjoy:
